This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
